Makkah or Madina- What to visit First

MAKKAH

• Most tour operators & Hajj Committee take you first to Makkah and then to Madina.
• Pilgrims also like to visit Makkah first, because of the inclination (love) with the city of Makkah and the presence of Kabah there.
• Visiting Makkah first gives you the sense of satisfaction.
• Hajj is performed in and around Makkah.

MADINA

• Madina is more organised city than Makkah.
• Madina is the resting place of Prophet Mohammad Sallalahualahivasallam.
• By visiting Madina first you can avoid the confusion of Umra of Hajj doing twice.
• You can buy most things like dates, Musallas, Watches etc in Madina, because they are cheap there.

My Opinion

I advice you to visit Madina first, because it will save you the confusion of doing the UMRA of Hajj twice.
